Default I'm a Newbee

Hi everyone, my name is John, and I live in Florida. As there is no forum for bromeliads, this one is pretty close.
I wish to say thanks to Drichard for the invite to this forum, and look forward to having many conversations with people that are as enthusiastic about plants as I am.
I've been collecting bromeliads for twenty years, and indeed, I've grown some pineapples. After all, next to Spanish Moss, it is the most well known of the bromeliads.
I grow mostly epiphytes, some tropicals, but I am bromeliads and orchids all the way. I have one of those free web sites that is totally dedicated to the culture of bromeliads, and I would like to invite those that would be interested to have a look see. I just completed a tutorial of sorts, compiled from the Florida Council of Bromeliad Socities, and the Bromeliad Society International. It's pretty good if I say so myself. Here's the link:
[Only Registered Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register...] Wow, that's werid. How come it's so long ?
It still goes there though. If anyone would care to leave a comment, it would greatly be appreciated, as I just finished it, there's not too many comments on it yet.
If anybody could point me in the right direction, I'd like to find Drichard and say thanks, maybee he does not go by that name here. Thanks Again, if I have offended anyone by posting here, please let me know, John

The link didn't work on my browser. Bummers!

Bromeliads and orchids are really fun to grow although I have trouble with my dogs trying to drink the water out of them and sometimes they think the plants are some sort of a pull-apart dog toy. Arrgh! Any ideas on how to make bromeliads less likeable by dogs? Perhaps some chili peppers in the middle?

They don't always wreck the bromeliads, just occasionally.
