| is anyone growing this?? mine is about 600mm tall at the moment - and about two years old. The top was taken off by a rampant pumpkin vine - it garotted the top half of the tree How old are they before they fruit? Does the fruit really taste like peanut butter or just have the texture of peanut butter - read both accounts on different parts of the net. |

| I have had mine in the ground for about 2 years, it is about 4-5 meters tall. It first got fruit when it was about a meter or so tall. I don't think it tastes all that much like peanut butter but it certainly has the same texture. Makes an excellent milk shake. Pruning helps give it a bushier shape. Very pretty tree, blooms all spring & summer. |
