| Hi to all ![]() I have joined this forum in an effort to learn more about mandarins and all citrus. My time alloted expired while reading a thread on the forum and was encouraged to join and read more, so here I am. I have enjoyed a mandarin of the gold nugget variety since I discovered the local farmers market in march. Last week I learned the name of the sweet seedless type of mandarin I have enjoyed, now off to purchase one and wondering if they are self fertile? Or do I need two trees? I think I am in zone 8 again (I moved from Texas a year ago, it was also zone 8). Looking forward to all advice given. -L. |

| Hiya silverstream, Welcome to CitrusNorth. Most citrus are self fertile and will produce with only a single tree/plant. There is only one that isn't but I will have to think on that one. Enjoy your stay and ask all the questions you need to. Andi |
