Not 100% sure what kind of palm it is..
My neighbor Maxine gave it to me about 5 yrs ago.. I neglected it last yr and it is just now recovering..

That sounds about right.. I don't know beans about Palms though..

here is pic I took last fall..



It was very full and pretty looking this time last yr..
here it is Nov. 05..


I am hoping that by this time next yr it will look this full again..

Give it plenty of bright light water and feed regularly and I believe it will surprise you once again!!!

what would be the best fert for it? I have used reg house plant fert on it in the past..

Try using any water soluble,that has micro nutrients,I use peters 20-20-20 on mine,once a month in the spring summer and fall.
