Palms are very slow to heal, and it will take new growth before it will look good again,so keep up what your doing.and let time take it's course! I have 2 persians as well, finally after getting on them they have left my plants alone.

If they are the older and lower leaves sometimes during the winter, they will lose them,I use a little epsom salt sprinkled in the soil and worked in,don't over water these during the winter, but don't let go completely dry either,if possible give it some more sunlight.mist leaves often as you can,for extra humidity.

my lil palm is doing a lot better. Its really tiny to begin with... But last week I bought a GIANT mama plant of the same variety. Very e xcited by it. Bought another one too, but it wouldn't stop dying... fungas in the soil so I took it back. waiting on another shipment to get another one. I'm hoping to put them out on my deck this spring/summer. just have to slowly get them to adjjust to the sun after a long dreary winter. Sure will look great on my deck!!!
