Default My Avocado seedlings

I have uploaded a pic of my avocado seedling.. I'm going to upload some more seeds that I have going though they aren't doing anything yet..
I am shocked at one.. I planted it not even a week ago and it has already split!!! when I get them all uploaded to the gallery I will link the pics here as well..
I can't wait to graft them!! I think I am a grafting addict!!!

here are pics I uploaded to the gallery..
seeds in peat pellets that I keep on top of fridge where it is nice and warm and no direct sunlight but they get florecent lighting

here is seedling just before I potted it..

root of same seedling...

same root just pulled the peat pellet cover so the root could grow better..

It looks like you just set the seed on the starter pellet. I think I might start some later when the price goes down since I don't like the avacado itself.

I like the way you domed the seeds with the plastic bag. I agree with Andi. Look's like your seed is in a peat pod. Nice Photo's

I love those peat pellets and Ziploc baggies!! I can bulk buy the peat pellets.. and the baggies are fairly cheap also.. I even have those super Ziploc baggies.. I usually use gal or two gal bags for seeds and seedlings.. and they can easily be rinsed and reused.. they provide great humidity level.. and all I have to do is pick up bag and look to see if any roots are on the bottom..
When I pot up I usually put pot and all in a Ziploc baggie for a week or two to allow roots to get started in the new soil before taking away the EXTRA humidity..
If the humidity level seems to be lower I will mist spray in the bag.. Rarely do I have to do this unless the seeds are taking forever to germinate..
I blow in the small (not SUPER, 2 gal and under) bags Provides fresh co2 and keeps the baggies off the plants.. the above pic I wanted to get both baggies in the pic so I let out all the extra air.. I blow in the bags at least every other day if not daily..

For the avocado seeds I did take my finger and drill a larger hole in the top of the peat pellet to allow for the larger seeds.. the hole is not very deep at all.. Just moved the peat so there is a shallow fat hole.. generally for citrus and other seeds and cuttings I just use a chopstick to drill the smaller deeper hole..
