Monkee,
I'd love to go. But it's a bit more than I can handle for now.
Have you tasted the any of the avocados that you listed from Fanick's. I hope to get an Opal, Wilma and a May from Bill Schnider in April.
The Front and Del Rio sound interesting. Do you know how cold tolerant they are?
Terry

Default A grafting question.

I would like to know what you would get if you planted a kumquat seed. After it grew you grafted it to better root system. Would it be a true kumquat or a seedling?

Instead of planting a kumquat seed and then grafting it to another root stock why not graft from a bearing kumquat. This way you are not waiting a long time for production
