Default Bad Mites

I have an infection of Citrus Leaf Miner. They are ambitious bugs that are hard for me to control. I was using a Pyrethin spray. It helped. But I was using a spray bottle every day or so.
I am using "Green Light’s Lawn & Garden Spray with Spinosad " Is seems to be working well. It's much more cost affective. But I'm open to suggestions.

Leaf Miners are not mites, leaf miners are the larva of a fly. Citrus leaf miners attack the new growth, therefore, it is only the new flush that needs to be sprayed. The chemical Spinosad, which gives a fair control, is sold under several trade names, by several manufactures. Spinosad is currently among the best treatment available, but repeated applications must be applied in order to maintain a shield of "protection" for the new growth. Leaf miner damage is mainly just to the appearance of the tree. Leaf miners actually do little actual damage to the health or economics of a citrus tree. Most commercial citrus growers, never bother with any type of leaf miner control in their groves.

Newton,
I have to apologize. In a weak moment I was trying to be clever. It’s the Good Mite Bad Mite play on words. Instead I was nether cleaver or helpful.
It’s easy to forget that some citrus people the come to this site are looking for more information about citrus. Saying that a Citrus Leafminer is a Mite may have been confusing and wasted someone’s time when all they wanted to do is learn more about citrus.
With that said, I appreciate your information on citrus growers not worrying about Leafminer.
My situation is that most of my citrus is newly grafted. The leaves that the Miners are working on is the new growth on a graft. I would hate to lose some of these grafts because of the Miners. Many of my new grafts are hard to replace.
The "Green Light’s Lawn & Garden Spray with Spinosad " seems to be keeping the Miner’s damage to a minimal.
Terry
