| If you have a spot against a wall and has a southern exposure, you can grow it with minimum protection. I normally cut it to the ground and cover it with mulch. This year I left it alone, and seems a very warm winter so far for my area. I'm in zone 6 in Pa. |

| hmm.. I have a spot if I only planted one or two would work.. how massive is the root system on those? I have a raised bed next to the south side of my house but it is only about 3' from house wall to retaining wall.. but it is all black soil!! very very fertile!! Gina *BabyBlue* |
