Default They have done it again!

I came home from work last night and discovered the "tree rats" (squirrels) had paid a visit to my deck, started with a pot I had a hyacynith bulb in and then on to one of my twin banana plants and gnawed through the up coming leaves on one of them. I am so darn mad, anyone with good repellant idea? I put my very poisionous young brugmansia plant where the Banana was hoping they will take a taste! HELP!!!!!!

That a hard one to control, We have them also the dog hated them so it was never a problem. Blood meal may work, I know a plasic owl keeps birds away but I don't know about squirrels. The bigger box stores sell live traps also.

a Lowes technician was telling me about Tiger poop. He said the pheromones in it keep animals away that have never been in contact with a tiger. We have zoo in town so it is free if I wanted some, but it is sold as well. I personally can't vouch for it since my dog and several packs for feral cats roam our area.

When I was in my teens I had one as pet. It use to sleep near my arm pit. I was MaMa. They can really be a problem around the house. And boy can they bit. We also have a house cat. It's one without a tail, thats how he was born. Good mouse hunter, He's getting a bit old but we don't any problems.
